Samsung announced a new smartwatch series at Unpacked 2025 in New York, and all three models are now available for pre-order. Yes, Samsung announced three new smartwatch models instead of the usual two, and prices vary fairly significantly depending on the model and connectivity options.
To recap, in case you missed the leaks and news, Samsung's 2025 smartwatch lineup consists of the Galaxy Watch 8, the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, and the refreshed Galaxy Watch Ultra. And although it is a slightly refreshed model from last year, the Ultra is the priciest because it remains the best choice for outdoor activities.
All three new Samsung smartwatches are now available for pre-order, and they will go on sale globally on July 25. Here is what they cost.
As you likely noticed, we haven't listed any different sizes for the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic. Likewise, there are no different sizes or connectivity options for the Ultra.
That's because the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic is available in only one size, 46mm. And, like last year, the Galaxy Watch Ultra is available only in a 47mm variant and exclusively with LTE connectivity.
So, if you're looking to buy a smaller Samsung smartwatch, your only option is the Galaxy Watch 8. Thankfully, there is a lot to look forward to with this new model, as Samsung completely redesigned it inside and out. It's thinner and now boasts the same improved Cushion (squircle) design and Dynamic Lug system as the other, pricier Watches.
Color options include Silver and Graphite for the base model and White and Black for the Classic. The Galaxy Watch Ultra for 2025 is available in the same colors as last year's version plus a new Titanium Blue option.
