In June, Samsung opened the Wear OS 6-based One UI 8 Watch Beta Program for the Galaxy Watch 7. Earlier this month, the brand released the second beta version of the new software to the smartwatch. Now, the company is rolling out One UI Watch 8 Beta 3 to the wearable.
The third beta version of One UI 8 Watch for the Galaxy Watch 7 carries firmware version L305NKOU1ZYHA and is 231.39MB in size, as you can see in the screenshot below (via @ya_sking12767). For now, the update is available in Korea. So, what changes does it offer?
According to the changelog, the One UI 8 Watch Beta 3 update for the Galaxy Watch 7 brings four major changes. First, it fixes the issue where GPS connection was delayed when you resumed an exercise after pausing it. Second, it improves hiking route accuracy.
Third, it fixes the issue where, when the watch was on the charger in vertical orientation, its displays didn’t turn off. Fourth, it brings the August 2025 security patch, which fixes many security issues that you can check out here.
To get the update, on your smartphone, open the Galaxy Wearable app and go to Watch settings » Watch software update » Downlod and install. We expect Samsung to release the update in regions soon.
