Samsung has started rolling out a new software update for the Galaxy Watch 7. It offers the February 2026 security patch, which fixes 37 security issues.
From what we could gather, currently, Samsung is rolling it out only in South Korea. The update is 390.13MB in size and carries firmware version L310XXU2BZB1 (via Samsung Communuity).
Usually, Samsung releases security updates to Galaxy smartphones every month. However, the brand doesn’t follow the same policy for Galaxy Watch models. To its smartwatches, the company offers security updates once every two to three months, generally.
Up until now, the Galaxy Watch 7 has been running on the November 2025 security patch. Earlier today, Samsung detailed the March 2026 security patch. However, the brand is offering the older February 2026 security patch to the smartwatch.
We expect Samsung to release the update in other countries in the next few days. To check for and get it, go to Watch settings > Watch software update and tap Download and install.
