Galaxy Tab S8 One UI 7 Android 15 update is now out everywhere

Samsung's forging ahead with the One UI 7 roll out for all eligible devices, including tablets. The Galaxy Tab S8 series got its first taste of the latest firmware about a week ago, but it had only been released in South Korea at that time.

Starting today, the Galaxy Tab S8 series is receiving the One UI 7 Android 15 update across the globe, enabling countless users to experience the latest and greatest software update that Samsung has to offer.

Samsung is rolling out firmware version X700XXU9DYDC for the Galaxy Tab S8 series across the globe. While one would have expected that perhaps this version would include the latest security maintenance release, this comes with the April 2025 security patch.

Samsung has comprehensively overhauled the user interface with One UI 7, and has particularly focused on improving the customization and personalization options of the software. It's not just One UI 7 that's new with this firmware update. It also brings Android 15 to the device, which brings its own set of new features and capabilities.

The Galaxy Tab S8 One UI 7 update is now rolling out and users should receive an update notification on their device soon, if they haven't already. It's also possible to check for the update manually by opening the Settings app, going to the Software update menu and tapping on Download and install.
