In the Android smartphone market, Samsung’s devices offer arguably the best video recording quality. Well, the brand’s next non-foldable flagship phone, the Galaxy S26 Ultra, may offer an even better video recording quality with its 5x periscope telephoto camera.
A popular tipster, Ice Universe, claims that the quality of videos recorded with the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s 5x periscope telephoto camera will be significantly better than that of the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Unfortunately, the tipster didn’t share which aspects of it will be better.
The Galaxy S and Galaxy Z series smartphones offer the best video recording quality among all Samsung phones. Videos recorded with these phones are usually more detailed, more color-accurate, and smoother compared to those taken with phones from Chinese brands. These phones also seem to focus on subjects faster during video recording than their Android rivals.
They also offer many advanced video recording features that other Android phones don’t. For starters, you can record 4K60FPS videos in HDR and high bitrate, as well as LOG videos. Then there’s smooth zoom, manual focusing, support for Bluetooth and USB microphones, the ability to adjust microphone gain and directionality, and much more.
