For quite some time now, there have been rumours that the smallest device in Samsung’s next lineup of non-foldable flagship smartphones, the Galaxy S26 Pro, will feature the same camera sensors as its predecessor, the Galaxy S25. Well, for the first time, we have more credible proof about it than just rumours.

On X, @erenylmaz075 says that One UI 8.5 reveals that the Galaxy S26 Pro (SM-S942B) will have ISOCELL S5KGN3 (50MP) as the primary camera, ISOCELL S5K3K1 (10MP) as the telephoto camera, Sony IMX564 (12MP) as the ultra wide camera, and ISOCELL S5K3LU as the front-facing camera.

Those are the same camera sensors that the Galaxy S25 offers. With no improvements in cameras since the Galaxy S22, people are quite furious at Samsung. According to the tipster, One UI 8.5 also reveals that the phone will have the Exynos 2600 SoC, just as SamMobile had confirmed earlier, and a 4,300mAh battery.

As for One UI 8.5 (Android 16) itself, the entire Galaxy S26 lineup will launch running it out of the box (older devices will have a beta program before they get the official update). Samsung will likely guarantee seven major OS upgrades and seven years of security updates, which has been standard for all flagship Galaxy smartphones since 2024.
