Yesterday, Samsung announced that it will launch new Galaxy S series smartphones, which are expected to be the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra, on February 25, 2026. Along with that, it also started taking pre-reservations for these devices in many countries, including India.
Well, if you are planning to pre-reserve the Galaxy S26 series in India, here’s something important you need to know to get your pre-reservation amount refunded in case you decide not to go ahead with the purchase.
In India, Samsung is letting you pre-reserve the Galaxy S26 using three platforms, the brand’s official website, Amazon, and Flipkart, by paying INR 999. No matter where you pre-reserve the lineup, you will get the same INR 2,699 worth of benefits. However, the pre-reservation cancellation terms and conditions aren’t the same.
If you pre-reserve on Samsung’s website and later decide not to purchase the Galaxy S26, the brand will refund your INR 999 pre-reservation amount. However, if you pre-reserve the Galaxy S26 using Flipkart, and then you decide not to purchase it, Flipkart will not refund your INR 999 pre-reservation fee (via S M A Sithick).
Unfortunately, there’s no information about Galaxy S26 pre-reservation cancellation terms and conditions for Amazon India. If you are not sure that you may like the Galaxy S26 after Samsung launches it, it is better to pre-reserve the phone using the brand’s official website. If you are, then Flipkart is also a way to go.
