Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S26 series and the Galaxy Buds 4 series on February 25 during the Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event. It also started accepting pre-orders for those devices on the same day. Starting today, the new devices are going on sale in several countries and markets around the world. The Galaxy S26 Ultra has broken all pre-order records.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra, featuring Privacy Display, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy processor, improved cameras, and new Galaxy AI features like Now Nudge, is Samsung’s most advanced phone yet. People seem to be liking it quite a bit, as Samsung claims that more than 70% of customers who pre-ordered a Galaxy S26 series device chose the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
Overall, the Galaxy S26 series has surpassed the Galaxy S25 series’ pre-order figures by a double-digit percentage. This is good news for Samsung, as people appear to have bought its new phones despite price increases compared to the Galaxy S25 series in several countries.
The Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra are available through carriers and retailers in four colors: Black, Cobalt Violet, Sky Blue, and White. They are also available in two exclusive colors, Pink Gold and Silver Shadow, through Samsung.com.
