Previous reports have revealed that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will feature a 6.9-inch QHD+ screen. However, it wasn't clear if Samsung would offer improved brightness. Crawling through some leaked files, Android Authority has found that Samsung will likely offer up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness.
It has also been revealed that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will become Samsung's first high-end phone to support Android's Seamless Updates. It will have an A/B storage partition system, which means software updates can be installed in the background.
The Galaxy A55 was Samsung's first phone with Seamless Updates, and the Galaxy S25 Ultra will follow it when it launches next month.
There is one thing that might disappoint you about the Galaxy S25 Ultra. It doesn't support Google's Find My Device tracking when it is switched off.
The report also claims that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery and uses UFS 4.0 storage. While the battery capacity was rumored earlier, it was based on information from industry insiders. Now, the capacity has been confirmed through the phone's code.
