But we can put all the negativity aside, because we may finally have received actual evidence to support those rumors: the international variant of the base Galaxy S25 model powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip has appeared on the Geekbench benchmark database (via Tarun Vats).
This is the first time the international Galaxy S25 variant is showing up on Geekbench; we had only seen the Korean and/or US models until today. That said, the international Galaxy S25+ model was spotted on Geekbench with the Exynos 2500 chip a few weeks back, so we wouldn't say anything is a 100% confirmed.
But the Galaxy S25 benchmark is much more recent, and with less than a month to go for the Galaxy S25 lineup's official announcement, we can safely assume the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip will power all models everywhere in the world.
It's also worth noting that the Galaxy S25 benchmark says the tested device had 12GB of RAM, which supports rumors that Samsung is making 12GB of RAM the standard on all three Galaxy S25 models.
