Reading time: 2 minutes
The battle of the slim phones is on between Samsung and Apple this year. The Korean giant made the first move with the Galaxy S25 Edge earlier this year. Apple has followed up yesterday with the launch of the iPhone Air.
Both devices are incredibly thin and that's the main reason why customers will want to buy them. If you're confused between the Galaxy S25 Edge vs iPhone Air, we highlight a few factors to consider in our new video to ensure you're making the right choice.
The iPhone Air's got the Galaxy S25 Edge on thinness, but only marginally, as it measure 5.6mm thin against Samsung's 5.8mm. However, the Galaxy S25 Edge does offer a larger display and is also lighter than its Apple counterpart.
It important to understand which phone makes what sacrifice to achieve these impressive numbers. It's event that Samsung has had to make fewer sacrifices which is why the Galaxy S25 Edge is a more capable phone compared to the iPhone.
Samsung has equipped it with a dual-camera setup at the back which includes a 12-megapixel ultra-wide and the same 200-megapixel primary sensor as the Galaxy S25 Ultra. On the contrary, the iPhone has gone for a single lens setup at 48-megapixel through the company talks up the software capabilities of the camera significantly.
The Galaxy S25 Edge's 3,900mAh battery may not seem big enough when compared to the other models in this family but it's positively chunky compared to the new iPhone's unconfirmed 3,100mAh capacity. Apple's tried to mitigate the press of bad battery life with the launch of a new slim magnetic battery pack for the device.
