Samsung usually launches special editions of Galaxy S-series devices in collaboration with artists and brands. Take the Galaxy S20+ BTS Edition and Galaxy S23 Ultra BMW M Edition for example. Well, the company is taking the same approach with the Galaxy S24 Ultra, and the first special edition of the smartphone is finally here.
Nexon Games has announced the Galaxy S24 Ultra Accessory Blue Archive Edition in South Korea. Blue Archive is the developer’s tactical role-playing game. At the moment, there’s no information about what the special edition of the device offers. However, we expect it to feature a special colour palette and retail box inspired by the game and come with collectables related to the title. Nexon Games says that it will release “sales information” and a “special video” for the product in “early March.”
We don’t expect Samsung to make this edition of the smartphone available outside South Korea as Blue Archive isn’t all that popular elsewhere. Samsung will most likely offer the Galaxy S24 Ultra Accessory Blue Archive Edition at a premium. However, we can’t say anything for sure until the company issues a press release. On a related note, Samsung has released an update to the Game Booster app, which fixes the CPU and GPU throttling issue on the Galaxy S24 series when playing Genshin Impact.
