In a matter of a week, Samsung will finally start rolling out the One UI 7.0 (Android 15) stable update. The update will first come to the Galaxy S24 and then to the Galaxy S24 FE in the following week. Before that update arrives, Samsung has now released the March 2025 security update to the Galaxy S24 FE in the USA.
A new software update is rolling out for the Galaxy S24 FE in the USA. The carrier-locked units of the phone are getting the March 2025 security patch as part of the update, which bears firmware version S721USQS3AYB1. This patch fixes 58 security flaws discovered in previous software versions. It does not bring any new features or performance enhancements.
The update is currently available on AT&T and Cricket wireless networks, but could be released on all carrier networks within days.
If you have a carrier-locked Galaxy S24 FE and live in the USA, you can check for the new update on your device by navigating to Settings » Software update » Download and install.
You can also choose the manual firmware flashing process, but you need to be well-versed in it. To use it, you have to download the new firmware file from our firmware database and flash it using the Odin tool on a computer running Windows OS.
The international variant of the Galaxy S24 FE has already received this update. It arrived in Europe last week. More regions could get the update soon.
