Galaxy S23's February 2026 security update reaches more regions

Last week, Samsung released a software update to the Galaxy S23 series that brought the February 2026 security patch. Back then, the brand rolled it out to the units in its home country, South Korea. Now, the company is rolling it out in more regions.

Samsung has released the Galaxy S23’s February 2026 security patch in India. The update is 467.17MB in size and carries firmware version S91xBXXS9EZB6 (via Tarun Vats). It brings fixes for 37 security issues, making these devices more secure than before.

Samsung may be rolling out the update in other regions as we speak. To check for and get it, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install. We will make the new firmware files for every region in our database soon for you to download and install manually using Odin, in case the OTA update method is causing issues.

With the Galaxy S26 series, Samsung debuted the latest stable version of its Android customisation for Galaxy smartphones, One UI 8.5.
