Galaxy S23 FE Exynos picks up April 2024 security update

Just a day after the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra received their first security update following the release of One UI 6.1, the Galaxy S23 FE is joining their ranks.

The April 2024 security update is rolling out to the Exynos-powered Galaxy S23 FE model (the one sold in most markets) in Europe. The Galaxy S23 FE is one of Samsung's latest Galaxy S phones, so it won't take long for the update to reach other countries.

The update can be identified by the build number S711BXXS2CXD1 and can be downloaded over the air from the phone's Settings » Software update » Download and install menu. The full firmware for the update is available in our archives, which you can download and install on your S23 FE using a Windows PC as an alternate method to make the jump to the latest software.

The latest Galaxy S23 FE update focuses on security enhancements and brings the security patch level of the device up to April 1, 2024. Don't expect any other changes or improvements. Facing some issues after updating to One UI 6.1? You will have to wait for another update for the fixes.
