Like any other update, once Android 14 (One UI 6.0) is available in your country, you can download it over the air by opening your phone's Settings app, selecting Software update, and then hitting the Download and install button. However, if you don't want to wait for the over-the-air update and want to try out the manual firmware flashing process, you can download the new firmware file from the SamMobile firmware library. It comes with firmware version S91xBXXU3BWJM and includes the October 2023 security patch.
Once you download the appropriate firmware file for your Galaxy S23 series device, you can flash it manually through a computer running Windows OS and using the famous Odin tool. Make sure you back up all your data before starting the manual firmware flashing process.
Android 14-based One UI 6.0 brings a lot of new features and UI changes to the Galaxy S23 series. Some of those improvements include a new Quick Panel design, a two-hand drag-and-drop method to move multiple files between apps, a new media player widget with a waveform design, a new Battery section in the Settings app, a new UI design for the camera app, and new widgets.
You can watch all the One UI 6.0 features, improvements, and design changes in our in-depth video below.
