The Galaxy M22 (SM-M225FV_DS) appeared in Bluetooth SIG's database earlier today. The device features Bluetooth 5.0 with LE (Low Energy) and EDR (Enhanced Data Rate). Going by its model number, the smartphone features LTE connectivity and a dual-SIM card slot. It appears that Samsung first started testing the Galaxy M22 sometime in September 2020 as the certification database has related entries from back then.
Going by previous leaks and reports, Samsung has equipped the Galaxy M22 with a MediaTek Helio G80 processor, 4GB/6GB RAM, 64GB/128GB internal storage, and a microSD card slot. It was revealed that the smartphone could come bearing a 13MP selfie camera on the front and a 48MP quad-camera setup at the rear. It should be capable of recording 1080p videos, similar to the Galaxy A22.
The Galaxy M22 could also debut with Android 11 out of the box (with One UI 3.x). The phone may come with a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-U display with HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It could also feature LTE, GPS, WI-Fi b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone could come powered by a 6,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging.
