In August, we learned that Samsung is developing F-series and M-series versions of the Galaxy A17 5G. Back then, we also got to see how the Galaxy F17 5G and the Galaxy M17 5G perform. Well, the brand has finally revealed when it is going to debut the latter as well as its design and features.
Amazon India has created a page for the Galaxy M17 5G, and it reveals the phone’s launch date, design, and features. According to it, Samsung will launch the phone on 10 October 2025, which is four days from now, and it will be available exclusively on Amazon. You can check out the poster below.
As for features, the page says that the Galaxy M17 5G will offer a display with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection, a triple-camera setup at the rear comprising of a 50MP primary camera featuring OIS, a 5MP camera with ultra wide lens, and a 2MP camera with macro lens, a 13MP camera at the front, and dust and water resistance with IP54 rating.
Samsung also says that the Galaxy M17 5G will be 7.5mm slim and offer Google’s Circle to Search. According to the phone’s listing on Geekbench, it features the Exynos 1330 SoC and offers 8GB RAM (it may also be available with lower memory options). Unfortunately, we don’t have details about the phone’s display and battery.
Considering that the Galaxy M17 5G is based on the Galaxy A17 5G, expect it to offer a 6.7-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate, and a 5,000mAh battery with 25W charging speed. Amazon says that the Galaxy M series has been the best-selling smartphone lineup on Amazon India between January 2025 and July 2025.
