It's an unusual turn of events, given Samsung's history with beta programs. The good news is that once the One UI 7 exits the beta stage of development, the live build(s) will certainly roll out to many more Galaxy devices gradually.
The Galaxy M15 is one of the low-cost phones eligible for a future upgrade to One UI 7. It might not be the first phone to get it, but surprisingly enough, a Galaxy M15 running Android 15 (One UI 7) was recently spotted in the Geekbench online benchmark (via @TarunVats33)
There are multiple Geekbench entries of the same device with One UI 7 firmware, and they all more or less perform similarly across different benchmark runs.
The Galaxy M15 with one UI 7 achieves nearly 700 points in single-core tests and close to 1900 points in multi-core.
Other low-cost M-series devices are expected to receive One UI 7 later this year, including the M33, M34, M53, M54, M55, and M55s. Exactly which one will receive the update first remains to be seen.
Either way, we suspect Samsung will prioritize rolling out the stable One UI 7 update for flagship Galaxy devices first. The upcoming Galaxy S25 lineup is expected to ship with One UI 7 out of the box. Samsung will announce it on January 22, but fans can now reserve the Galaxy S25 for exclusive bonuses.
