Samsung has released a new software update for the international variant of the Galaxy M14 5G (SM-M146B). It brings the February 2024 security patch, which fixes 72 security issues. The latest firmware carries Build Number M146BXXS3BXB1. The company has made the update available in all the countries where it sells the phone, including India, Iraq, Morocco, Nepal, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Tunisia, Turkey, and the United Arab Emirates.
Usually, Samsung smartphones automatically keep checking for software updates and notify you when one is available. However, if your Galaxy M14 5G hasn’t shown you a pop-up for the update, you check for it manually by going to Settings » Software updates and clicking on the Download and install button. At the moment, the new firmware isn’t available in our database but will soon become available. When that happens, you can download the file and install it manually using the Odin software.
Samsung has put the Galaxy M14 5G in the Quarterly Security Updates schedule, which means that it will offer one security update to the smartphone in three months. So expect the company to offer the next security update before June 2024. In December 2023, Samsung had updated the phone to Android 14 (One UI 6.0). The company is supposed to offer two OS upgrades to the phone. That means the company will release Android 15 (One UI 7.0) to the smartphone when Google releases it later this year.
