Samsung’s Galaxy Fit series is popular among users who want an affordable fitness tracker for monitoring activities such as steps, workouts, and sleep. The last model in the lineup, the Galaxy Fit 3, was launched in 2024. Now, Samsung appears to be preparing a successor that could arrive later this year.
We have received information that Samsung is developing the Galaxy Fit 4. While it will launch this year, it will not be unveiled at the next Galaxy Unpacked event, which is scheduled for July 2026. Instead, the fitness tracker could be launched a few months later, likely around September, alongside the Galaxy S26 FE and the Galaxy Tab S12 series.
It is currently unclear what improvements the Galaxy Fit 4 will bring over the Galaxy Fit 3. However, it is unlikely to run Wear OS like the Galaxy Watch series and will probably continue using an RTOS-based operating system.
The Galaxy Fit 3 already offers a solid feature set, including an OLED display, an accelerometer, a gyroscope, and a heart rate sensor. One notable feature missing from the Galaxy Fit 3 is built-in GPS, which would allow for more accurate outdoor workout tracking without relying on a connected smartphone.
If Samsung adds GPS to the Galaxy Fit 4, it could become a compelling upgrade over its predecessor and offer excellent value for its price.
