The Galaxy Book Go is now available for purchase via Samsung's US website. The laptop is currently available in just one memory configuration (4GB LPDDR4X RAM + 128GB eUFS storage), one color (silver), and a Wi-Fi-only variant. It costs just $350. At this price, the Galaxy Book Go will compete with a lot of Chromebooks. It's cheaper than Samsung's own Galaxy Chromebook 2, and that's saying something. The variants with 8GB RAM and LTE connectivity may become available for purchase later this month.
Samsung has equipped the Galaxy Book Go with a 14-inch IPS LCD display with Full HD resolution. It has a plastic body, a chiclet-style tenkeyless keyboard, a glass trackpad, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, and a 720p webcam. It runs Windows 10 and uses the Snapdragon 7c Gen. 2 processor. There's a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
In terms of connectivity and I/O ports, the Galaxy Book Go has LTE (in LTE variant only), Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, a nano-SIM card slot, one USB 2.0 Type-A port, two USB 3.2 Gen. 2 Type-C ports, and a 3.5mm headphone/mic combo jack. It is powered by a 42.3WHr battery and can charge at 25W over any of its USB Type-C ports. Samsung says that the laptop can last up to 18 hours on a single charge, but realistic numbers could be somewhere around 12 hours.
The Galaxy Book Go 5G, which has the Snapdragon 8cx Gen. 2 processor and 5G connectivity, will be available after a few months.
