The Android 15-based One UI 7.0 update is now available for the carrier-locked version of the Galaxy A54. It comes with firmware version A546USQUBDYE5 and has a download size of around 3.5GB. It includes the May 2025 security patch to make the device more secure than earlier.
The update is currently available on Metro PCS, T-Mobile, and US Cellular networks in the USA. It will be released on all carrier networks soon.
If you have a Galaxy A54 and live in the USA, you should now check for the new update on your device. To do that, navigate to Settings » Software update » Download and install. Then, once the update is completely downloaded, tap the Install now button. The device will then restart after the installation process is complete, and the process takes a few minutes.
Samsung launched the Galaxy A54 in early 2023 with Android 13 (One UI 5.1) onboard. It released the Android 14 (One UI 6.0) update in late 2023 and now the Android 15 (One UI 7.0) update. It will get the Android 16-based One UI 8.0 update before the end of this year.
