Galaxy A37, Galaxy A57 complete specifications leak

Two of the many Galaxy A series smartphones Samsung is developing at the moment are the Galaxy A37 and the Galaxy A57. So far, there have been plenty of leaks about them, revealing their design, features, and prices. However, there were still many specifications of these devices that we didn’t know. That’s changing today.

Android Headlines has revealed the complete specifications of the Galaxy A37 and the Galaxy A57. 

Starting with the Galaxy A37, the publication says that it will feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, the same as its predecessor, the Galaxy A36.

The upcoming phone will use the Exynos 1480 SoC instead of the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 in the current model. Reportedly, Samsung will offer it in two RAM options, 6GB and 8GB, and two storage options, 128GB and 256GB, the same as before. The brand is said to ship it with One UI 8.5 (Android 16 QPR2). 

The Galaxy A37 will also bring an upgraded camera setup. It will feature a 50MP primary camera with a wide lens, a 12MP secondary camera with an ultra-wide lens, and a 5MP tertiary camera with a macro lens. In comparison, the Galaxy A36 has a 50MP primary + 8MP ultra wide + 5MP macro setup. As for the front camera, the upcoming model will feature a 12MP unit, the same as the current one.

When it comes to battery capacity and charging speed, there will be no changes. You will get a 5,000mAh battery with 45W wired charging. Connectivity options will include Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3. The phone will measure 162.9 x 78.2 x 7.4mm and weigh 196 grams. Samsung will launch it in five colors: Awesome Charcoal, Awesome Graygreen, Awesome Lavender, and Awesome White.

Coming to the Galaxy A57, Android Headlines says that it will feature the same 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate as its predecessor, the Galaxy A56.

Reportedly, it will feature the Exynos 1680 SoC as opposed to the Exynos 1580 processor in the previous model. The phone will come with the same RAM and storage options as before. 6GB and 8GB memory options and 128GB and 256GB storage options. As you may have expected, Samsung will ship it with One UI 8.5.

Unlike the Galaxy A37, the Galaxy A57 may not offer a rear camera setup upgrade. It is said to feature the same 50MP wide + 12MP ultra wide + 5MP macro cameras as the previous model.

Similar to the Galaxy A56, the Galaxy A57 will also have a 5,000mAh battery with support for 45W wired charging. Fortunately, Samsung will offer it with newer and faster connectivity options. Instead of Bluetooth 5.3 and Wi-Fi 6, you will get Bluetooth 6.0 and Wi-Fi 6E.

The report says that the phone will measure 161.5 x 76.9 x 6.9mm and weigh 192 grams. The brand will make the device available to purchase in five colors: Awesome Gray, Awesome Icyblue, Awesome Lilac, and Awesome Navy.
