The Galaxy A36 and the Galaxy A56 have a 50MP primary rear-facing camera with OIS and a 12MP front-facing camera. Both those cameras support 10-bit HDR video recording at 4K resolution and a frame rate of 30fps. These are Samsung's first mid-range smartphones that have the capability to record 10-bit HDR videos.
These 10-bit HDR videos have deeper colors and a wider dynamic range. These videos can be shared on social media (like Instagram) with high dynamic range in the Super HDR format (based on Google's Ultra HDR).
The Galaxy S25 series records 10-bit HDR videos by default, and the Galaxy A36 and the Galaxy A56 are the first mid-range phones to adopt that feature. Hopefully, more mid-range phones will get the 10-bit HDR video recording feature next year.
