Galaxy A35 users should grab this increasingly rare accessory before it's gone for good

Even though the new Galaxy A36 is technically a better phone than the A35 from last year, the older model has one ace up its sleeve. It's the last in the series to support the now-retired Smart View (a.k.a. S-View) case.

Indeed, as you may have heard before, Samsung stopped making Smart View cases this year. Not only for the Galaxy A series but for every other phone.

With that in mind, if you want a unique experience that you may never be able to replicate in the future, you might want to buy a Smart View Wallet Case for your Galaxy A35 while you still can.

Samsung usually stops selling protective cases for Galaxy phones that are around two years old. So you still have time to grab a Galaxy A35 Smart View Case before it might be gone for good.

For reference, in the USA and Europe, the Smart View Wallet Case will set you back $49 / €49, respectively. At the moment, it is not available in the UK.

What's so special about the Smart View case design? In short, it comes with a display cover that has a cutout. The phone knows when the cover is closed and adjusts the Always on Display to show information only through the cutout.

As we said before, there is no official information about Samsung's decision to completely abandon the Smart View case design this year, but this intricate design may have been why. The case needs some integration with the software, and every new update poses the risk of making the AOD feature misbehave.

Samsung hasn't said anything about the S View / Smart View case's retirement, so whether or not similar cases will ever be released again is unknown.

Until then, if you own the Galaxy A35 and don't plan to replace it soon, you may want to see if you can buy the Smart View Wallet Case in your market before it becomes a relic of history.
