Samsung Galaxy A34 gets February 2025 security update in more countries

Samsung has released a new software update for the Galaxy A34. It isn't One UI 7.0, but installing the February 2025 security update will make your phone more secure. The update was released to the Galaxy A34 in Europe a few days ago and is now available in Asia.

The new software update, which is rolling out to the Galaxy A34 (SM-A346E), is now available in the Philippines. The update comes bearing firmware version A346EXXS9CYA2. It includes the February 2025 security patch that fixes dozens of privacy and security issues found in the previous software.

If you have a Galaxy A34 and live in the Philippines, you can check for the new update by heading to Settings » Software update » Download and install on your phone.

You can also download the latest firmware file from our firmware database and then flash it manually using a Windows PC and the Odin tool.

The Galaxy A34 was launched in 2023 with Android 13 onboard. The phone received the Android 14 update late last year and will receive the Android 15 update in the next couple of months. It will also receive two more Android OS updates in the future.
