One UI 8.5 on the Galaxy A55 - Source: Abhijeet Mishra / SamMobile
Samsung has started rolling out the stable version of One UI 8.5 to the Galaxy A25. The brand is offering it first in its home country, South Korea. The update that brings it carries firmware version A256NKSU9EZE8.
Usually, after releasing an update first in its home market, the company starts releasing it in other regions in the next few days. To check the availability and get it, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install.
One UI 8.5 offers a user interface that looks slightly different from that of One UI 8.0. You will find the most significant design changes in first-party apps, where you will see a floating bottom bar instead of a flat look. Speaking of UI, it is now more customisable, especially the Quick Settings panel.
After installing the new update on your Galaxy A25, you will also come across many new features. One of them is the support for Apple AirDrop. It allows you to exchange files with iPhones, iPads, and Macs wirelessly without the need for a third-party app, which wasn't possible before.
