Last week, Samsung released the One UI 7 update for the Galaxy A15 and the Galaxy A15 5G. However, the update was available in some regions. Now, its reach has been expanded to more regions. The Galaxy A15 5G is getting the update in more Asian countries, while the Galaxy A15 has received the update in Latin America.

The Android 15-based One UI 7.0 update is now available for the Galaxy A15 in Latin American countries with firmware version A155MUBU6CYE3. The Galaxy A15 5G is getting the One UI 7.0 update with firmware version A156EDXU5CYE9 in several African and Asian countries listed below.
More countries, including the ones in Europe and North America, will get the update for the Galaxy A15 and the Galaxy A15 5G soon. If you live in any of the countries or regions mentioned above, you can check for the new update by navigating to Settings » Software update » Download and install. Once the update is downloaded, tap the Install now button to start the installation process. It will take a few minutes before the phone is rebooted and is ready to use.
The Galaxy A15 and the Galaxy A15 5G were launched last in December 2023 with Android 14 onboard, and Android 15 (One UI 7.0) is the first big software update that the phones have received till now. They will get three more major Android OS updates in the future, starting with the Android 16 update before the end of this year.
One UI 7 brings a newly designed UI, smoother animations and transitions, new app icons, new widgets and widget styling options, Now Bar, improved stock apps, better privacy and security features, more accessibility options, more battery health protection options, a new charging animation, a new battery icon in the status bar, bigger notifications, and a more customizable Quick Panel.
