The Galaxy A15 will be available in both 4G and 5G versions. The 4G version of the Galaxy A15 has appeared in NBTC's certification database. It has model number SM-A155F/DSN, which confirms that the phone has a dual-SIM card slot and that it will launch sooner rather than later. Previous reports have revealed that the Galaxy A15 4G uses a MediaTek Helio G99 processor, which has two high-performance Cortex-A76 CPU cores clocked at 2.2GHz and six power-efficient Cortex-A55 CPU cores clocked at 2GHz. The 5G version of the phone will use the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor.
The upcoming affordable smartphone has a big screen with a U-shaped notch. Its resolution is pegged at Full HD+, while it could have a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone will likely have 64GB or 128GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot for storage capacity expansion. The phone's Geekbench entry has also revealed that the phone will run Android 14 out of the box, setting it up for a possible upgrade to at least Android 16 in the future. Leaked images reveal that the phone has flat sides and curved corners.
On the rear, the Galaxy A15 has a triple-camera setup featuring a 50MP primary camera. The other two cameras could be a 5MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro camera. On the front, the phone will likely have a 13MP camera. It has a 5,000mAh battery and supports 25W fast charging. The phone also features a fingerprint reader, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Since the phone will run Android 14-based One UI 6, you can check out most of its software features in our video below.
