Samsung has finally started rolling out the One UI 8.0 update to its most affordable Galaxy phones. After releasing the update to the Galaxy F15 earlier this week, the company has released it for the Galaxy A07 as well. It is the first major software update the phone has received since its launch.
The Android 16-based One UI 8.0 update is now available for the Galaxy A07 in Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines. The new update comes bearing firmware version A075FXXU1BYJA and has a download size of around 2.3GB. It includes the October 2025 security patch for improved security.
If you have a Galaxy A07 and live in any of the countries mentioned above, you should check for the One UI 8 update on your phone right away. To do that, open the Settings app on your phone and then navigate to Software update > Download and install, and then tap the Install now button once the update is downloaded.
The update brings improvements to several stock apps, the lock screen, and the underlying platform. Quick Share has received a new, full-screen design with two separate tabs (Send and Receive). The Weather app gets new visuals, featuring a character that responds to weather conditions. The Camera app gets a new on-screen swipe gesture to show or hide quick camera controls.
