Galaxy A06 5G is taking India's 5G airwaves by storm starting today

The Galaxy A06 5G is available in India in three memory configurations and three color options, i.e., black, gray, and light green. Here's what it costs:

• Galaxy A06 5G 4GB+64GB: INR 10,499 ($120).
• Galaxy A06 5G 4GB+128GB: INR 11,499 ($132).
• Galaxy A06 5G 6GB+128GB: INR 12,999 ($149).

Customers can also sign up for a one-year screen protection plan for INR 129 with Samsung Care+.

Key specs include 12 5G bands, the MediaTek Dimensity D6300 chipset, a 50MP primary camera paired with a 2MP depth sensor, an 8MP selfie shooter, and a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging.

Other notable features are the 6.7-inch HD+ display and the IP54 rating for dust and water resistance, which helps the phone be more resilient to water splashes.

As for software, surprisingly enough, the Galaxy A06 ships with Android 15 and One UI 7. Nevertheless, the A06 is a budget device and won't take advantage of all the One UI 7 features the Galaxy S25 series does.

Some features Samsung was keen on mentioning in its official announcement were Voice Focus, which enhances call clarity, and Knox Vault security.

Samsung says it will update the Galaxy A06 5G with four OS upgrades and support it with security patches for four years.
