We bring some good news for Galaxy A05s users. Samsung has released One UI 6.1 to the smartphone.
At the moment, Samsung is rolling out the latest update to the variant of the Galaxy A05s that the company sells in Asia and North Africa, which carries the model number SM-A057F. We can confirm that the update is live in Tunisia, and the brand must be rolling it out in other regions as well.
The new software update changes the firmware version of the Galaxy A05s to A057FXXU3CXE6. Along with One UI 6.1, it also brings the May 2024 security patch to the smartphone, which fixes 45 security issues. Up until now, the phone was running the March 2024 security patch.
The One UI 6.1 update brings many new features to your Galaxy A05s. For starters, you get new options to edit images and videos in the Gallery app, customize the UI, share content, communicate with people, manage your health, and protect the phone’s battery. You can watch our video below to learn more about these features.
To get the latest software update on your Galaxy A05s, go to Settings » Software update » Download and install. You can also download the new firmware from our database and install it manually using a Windows PC and Odin. Make sure to back up your data in the phone before going ahead with manual installation.
