Samsung’s entry-level smartphone from almost three years ago, the Galaxy A03, is getting a new software update. It brings the July 2024 security patch to the phone, which fixes 58 security issues.
Currently, only the international variant of the device, which carries the model number SM-A035F is getting the latest security patch. The new software update has the firmware version A035FXXS7CXF3.
You can download and install the July 2024 security patch on your Galaxy A03 by going to Settings » Software update » Download and install or by downloading the firmware from our database and installing it on your device using Odin on a Windows PC.
Samsung launched the Galaxy A03 with Android 11 (One UI Core 3.1). As promised, the company offered two new versions of the OS to the device and then stopped offering major software updates to it. Currently, it is running on Android 13 (One UI Core 5.1).
The story continues after the video…
At the moment, the Galaxy A03 is on a biannual security update schedule, which means that it will get two security updates every year. If you are planning to upgrade to a newer and affordable device, you should wait for the Galaxy A06.
