Lately, there have been rumors that Microsoft is planning to launch some of the Xbox Game Studios games that are currently exclusive to Xbox, including Gears of War, Hellblade 2, Hi-Fi Rush, Indiana Jones, Sea of Thieves, and Starfield, on other platforms, including Sony’s PlayStation and Nintendo. Now, a new leak reveals the first two Xbox-exclusive titles that Microsoft is planning to bring to other platforms.
According to The Verge, the first two Xbox-exclusive games that Microsoft will launch on other platforms are Hi-Fi Rush and Pentiment. However, there’s no information about when the company will launch those titles on other platforms. The publication also says that Microsoft is planning to bring Sea of Thieves to non-Xbox platforms later this year with “other first-party titles also under consideration.”
Next Thursday, Microsoft is expected to reveal the company’s plans for Xbox and its gaming division, including announcing that it will launch Xbox-exclusive titles on non-Xbox platforms as well as shedding light on the future Xbox hardware. Speaking of which, a recent leak suggests that Microsoft is planning to launch a high-end gaming console, similar to the Xbox Series X, and a dockable handheld gaming console, similar to the Nintendo Switch, by 2026.
