Everyone gets cheaper one-time display repair costs.

Thanks to advancements in engineering, design, and materials, modern Samsung foldable phones are much more resilient than their predecessors. Nevertheless, the fear of damage and spicy repair costs remains one of the highest barriers to entry for many people who would like to try foldable devices but haven't.
It's a mental barrier, at the very least, and Samsung appears to be aware of it. Now that the Galaxy Z TriFold is official, the company is trying to make it easier for prospective buyers to go through with their purchase by offering an exclusive display repair benefit.
The 10-inch foldable display equipped on the Galaxy Z TriFold is probably Samsung's most expensive yet. The last thing any TriFold owner wants is to have to replace it.
But in case something does happen to the foldable panel, Samsung says that every Galaxy Z TriFold buyer is eligible for a one-time display repair job at a 50% discount.
Okay not quite… Samsung hasn't outright confirmed whether the display repair benefit covers the foldable panel. And it hasn't said exactly how much a Galaxy Z TriFold foldable screen replacement costs with or without the discount.
Ideally, the policy covers both the 6.5-inch cover screen and the 10-inch foldable display. But at the very least, it doesn't seem to make much sense for Samsung to offer a special display replacement discount to “esteemed Galaxy Z TriFold customers” — their words, not ours — that wouldn't cover the foldable panel.
In any case, details are unclear at the moment. We'll let you know once we find out more about Galaxy Z TriFold repair costs and the repair policy as a whole.
