Samsung’s One UI 8.5 update will introduce redesigns across many of its stock apps, and Samsung Internet is one of them. The fun part? You don’t have to wait for your Galaxy phone to receive the One UI 8.5 update to try out the new browser.
Version 29.0.2.58 of Samsung Internet is already available through the Galaxy Store on devices running leaked One UI 8.5 firmware. We’ve extracted its installation (APK) file so you can install and test it not only on devices with One UI 8.0 but also on those running One UI 7.0.
Simply download the APK file to your phone from Google Drive using this link, then open it through the My Files app to install it. Don’t worry, the file is completely safe and hasn’t been modified in any way. You may need to disable Auto Blocker before installation. You can do that by heading to Settings > Security and Privacy.
Samsung Internet’s latest update is largely visual, as we’ve detailed before. Some interface tweaks won’t appear on devices that aren’t running One UI 8.5, but there’s still plenty to see, enough to give you a solid preview of what Samsung is cooking up. So go ahead and give it a try!
