More detailed Galaxy F16 5G specs rumored before India launch

A few days ago, Samsung started teasing its upcoming Galaxy F series smartphone for the Indian market. It is expected that the upcoming phone will be the affordable Galaxy F16 5G, and its detailed specifications have now been rumored.

Rumored Galaxy F16 5G specifications

The Galaxy F16 5G is likely similar to the Galaxy A16 5G except for the design and battery. It could have a less premium-looking design and a bigger battery. According to a tipster on X, the Galaxy F16 5G has a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It could be powered by a 6,000mAh battery and will be compatible with 25W fast charging.

The tipster claimed that the Galaxy F16 5G has a 50MP primary rear camera, a 5MP ultrawide camera, and a third unknown camera. It reportedly has a 13MP selfie camera.

The phone is said to come equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 6300+ processor and 8GB LPDDR4X RAM. While the tipster didn't reveal the phone's storage capacity, it will likely come in 128GB and 256GB variants. It will also have a microSD card slot for storage space expansion.

The device could run Android 14 out of the box and get seven major Android OS updates. It could be priced lower than INR 15,000 ($171) and could be sold in India exclusively through Flipkart.
