One UI 8.5 is finally official as Samsung launched the beta program earlier this week. The beta program has been launched in a handful of countries where users who have One UI 8.5 eligible devices will be able to take it for a spin.
The new update brings a handful of improvements and features that are definitely worth checking out. We've put together a full video guide to One UI 8.5 so that you can easily understand all that's new.
Many of the changes have already been known as early builds of One UI 8.5 had already been floating around long before the beta program was launched. This includes the Quick Panel overhaul, which delivers incredible customization to one of the software's most important touch points.
Samsung has also refreshed the design for many of its native apps with One UI 8.5. Gallery gets new visual elements, and so does Samsung Notes, and a variety of other apps. In addition to the UI improvements, the Settings app is now more streamlined and makes it easier to find the options that you're looking for.
Samsung DeX gets a major improvement with One UI 8.5 as the company has added a screen recording feature. You can now record the screen in DeX, with the option to either record the full screen or a part of it.
All this, and more, has been explained in detail in the video the great folks over at SamMobile's YouTube channel have put out. Check it out below, and as always, don't forget to subscribe to the SamMobile YouTube channel.
