Due to the ongoing AI-induced RAM and storage shortage globally, prices of all consumer electronic devices are increasing. The latest devices to get affected by this RAMageddon are the Galaxy S26 series phones. After hiking the prices of several entry-level and mid-range devices recently, Samsung has increased prices across the Galaxy S26 lineup.
Based on documentation reportedly sent by Samsung to authorized Galaxy smartphone retailers in India, prices for the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra are increasing by INR 20,000 (~$209) starting September 18, 2026.
With these updates, the base Galaxy S26 now starts at INR 1,07,999 (~$1,126), and the Galaxy S26+ starts at INR 1,39,999 (~$1,460).
