With the Galaxy S26 series launch inching closer, Samsung seems to have finalized everything related to its upcoming high-end phones. It was earlier rumoured that the company could replace the Galaxy S26+ with the Galaxy S26 Edge. Is that still happening?
Well, it appears that Samsung will launch three Galaxy S26 series phones next month: Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. Samsung Colombia has indirectly confirmed these names on its website by mentioning them in its PDF document that details promotions related to its products. Since it doesn't mention the Galaxy S26 Edge or the Galaxy S26 Pro, it appears that those phones won't launch alongside the other Galaxy S26 series devices.
Since the base Galaxy S26 was rumored to launch as the Galaxy S26 Pro, it appears that there won't be a Pro version after all. Regarding the Galaxy S26 Edge, Samsung could still launch it later in the year, similar to what it did with the Galaxy S26 Edge. So we can't write it off just yet.
The Galaxy S26 and the Galaxy S26+ could use the Exynos 2600 processor, built on Samsung Foundry's 2nm process node, in most countries globally. The Galaxy S26 Ultra could use the 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 For Galaxy processor. All three phones could bring newer Galaxy AI features.
The Galaxy S26 and the Galaxy S26+ could use the same cameras as their predecessors and could have 20W fast wiresless Qi2.2 charging and 45W fast wired charging. The Galaxy S26 Ultra could have 25W Qi2.2 fast wireless charging and 60W fast wired charging.
Samsung could equip the Galaxy S26 and the Galaxy S26+ with a 50MP primary camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and a 10MP telephoto camera. The Galaxy S26 Ultra could have a 200MP primary camera, a 50MP ultrawide camera, a 12MP telephoto camera (3x zoom), and a 50MP super telephoto camera (5x zoom). All three devices will likely feature a 12MP selfie camera.
