A few days ago, it was reported that at least one variant of the Galaxy A53 could feature a Snapdragon chipset, while others could use the Exynos processor. However, it appears that all the smartphone variants could come equipped with Samsung's homegrown Exynos chipset.

The international version of the Galaxy A53 (SM-A536B) has appeared in Geeekbench's database. The smartphone features the Exynos 1200 processor (s5e8825), with two CPU cores clocked at 2.4GHz and six CPU cores clocked at 2GHz. The chipset also features the Mali-G68 GPU and 5G connectivity. It scored 743 points in the single-core CPU test and 1,900 points in the multi-core test.

The Galaxy A53 will reportedly feature a Super AMOLED display with a high refresh rate, a quad-camera setup with a 64MP primary sensor and OIS, an in-display fingerprint reader, stereo speakers, IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, and a 5,000mAh battery with fast charging.

Since the Galaxy A53 uses the Exynos 1200 chipset, it will also feature 5G, Wi-Fi 5, and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. The smartphone appears running Android 12, so it will likely come with One UI 4 out of the box and get up to three years of Android OS updates and four years of security updates.
