Since the last few years, displays of Samsung smartphones have been suffering from the “green line” issue. The brand has been replacing screens of certain affected models for free. In India, there isn’t an official list of devices covered under this program. However, we now have information that Galaxy S23 is one of the phones covered in this policy in the country.
On X, Tarun Vats posted a screenshot of his conversation with Samsung India Support, where the company confirmed that the Galaxy S23 is on the list of devices eligible for a free display replacement if the screen develops green lines.
The company says the current policy for replacing affected displays is active until September 30, 2025. However, the tech giant will extend the offer through December 2025, giving you at least four months to get your Galaxy smartphone’s screen replaced.
Note that while the brand will provide the replacement screen for free, it will charge a labor fee of around INR 649. It’s also worth mentioning that the phone must be three years old or newer and must not have any physical damage to qualify for this policy.
