The wait is over! Samsung announces Exynos5!

In the pas we've seen some beautiful demos of the Exynos 5250 , well today it got announced by Samsung.

Here are some of its specifications:

• Dual-core 1.7 Ghz Cortex A15 CPU
• Mali T604 GPU
• Wi-Fi display support
• 12.8 GB/s memory bandwidth with 2 port 800 Mhz LPDDR3 RAM support
• 1080p 60 FPS video performance and VP8 codec decoder
• USB 3.0 support

Some of the Mali's T604 specifications:

• Support resolutions up to WQXGA(2560X1600)
• stereoscopic 3D
• OpenGL ES 3.0
• OpenCL 1.1
•  DirectX 11 support

ARM's website  claims that the T604 offers up to 5x the performance of previous Mali GPU. Below you can see a movie of the Exynos 5 (thanks Engadget for this movie).

We of Sammobile think that at IFA the next generation Tablets will be shown. We heard about this tablet quite some while ago and in the Apple vs Samsung case it surfaced again. So that's why think ahead IFA they announced it.

So what about the Note II then?
Note II will sport the exynos 4412 only higher clocked and we think that next year there will be a phone with this beast of a SOC. Probably in the next Galaxy S and Note III.
