Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 LTE gets updated to Android 5.1.1 Lollipop

The LTE variant of Samsung's mid-range 7-inch tablet, the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 LTE, has started receiving the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. The Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 LTE (SM-T235) was released with Android 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box, and it is now getting the latest version of the operating system.

Owners of the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 LTE residing in the Nordic countries – Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden – should be getting an update notification shortly. The update has build number T235XXU1BOH7 , and should be hitting the device shortly over the air. You can also download the firmware from our firmware section and install it manually using ODIN.
