According to The Korean Herald, AT&T has teamed up with Samsung to test its upcoming VoLTE service. AT&T is expected to launch its VoLTE network by the end of 2014, using which users will be able to make calls over an LTE network instead of a 2G or 3G network, resulting in better call quality and more stable connections (well, at least in regions where the LTE signal is strong enough.) Samsung's hand in helping AT&T test the VoLTE service will also help the Korean manufacturer increase its presence in the US, according to analysts, and we might just see the Galaxy S5 or Galaxy Note 4 come with support for a network service that's expected to be a major thing in the wireless industry in the coming years.
