TL;DR

  • Samsung has started rolling out the stable One UI 9.0 update for the Galaxy A56 worldwide, after first launching it in South Korea.
  • The 2.3GB update is version A566BXXUEDZJ1 and may appear first in the Middle East.
  • One UI 9.0 adds Quick Panel customization, DeX and Notes improvements, accessibility upgrades, and a location privacy indicator, while some new AI features are limited to Galaxy Z, S, and Tab devices.

Samsung debuted the stable version of One UI 9.0 (Android 17) for the Galaxy A56 by releasing the update in its home country, South Korea. Now, the brand has begun rolling it out globally, and it looks like the company is offering the new software first in the Middle East.

The update has a size of 2,314.37MB and carries firmware version A566BXXUEDZJ1 (thanks for the tip, Sina Ataei). People around the world can check its availability and get it by going to Settings > Software update > Check for updates.

One UI 9.0 offers many upgrades over One UI 8.5. A few worth pointing out are more customization options for Quick Panel, enhancements to Samsung DeX, Samsung Notes, and accessibility features, and a location privacy indicator.

The new software also packs additional AI features. However, they are exclusive to Galaxy Z, Galaxy S, and Galaxy Tab S series devices. You can check out them out in our video below.
