Samsung has released the new firmware in India, and it brings four changes, all of which are bug fixes.

The Galaxy A16 5G units enrolled in the One UI 9.0 (Android 17) beta program are getting the second beta update of the new software. 

The update is live in India. It has a size of 333.50MB, carries firmware version A166PXXU9ZZJ1, and brings four changes (via Kailash), which you can check out below.

  • Fixed an issue where Fast Charging feature was not working.
  • Fixed an issue where Battery protection was not working when powered off.
  • Fixed an issue in camera where “Quick setting” icon is showing during image capture process when using timer
  • Updated Photo Editor version.

You can get the second One UI 9.0 beta update on your Galaxy A16 5G by going to Settings > Software update > Check for updates.

At the moment, there’s no information on how many more beta updates the brand has planned before it releases the stable version.
