The Galaxy Watch 8 and the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic were the first set of Samsung smartwatches to get the One UI 9 Watch (Wear OS 7) beta program. Now, the brand has released the fourth beta version of the new software for the two smartwatches.

Since the company made the One UI 9 Watch beta program for the Galaxy Watch 8 series available only in its home country, South Korea, that's the only region where the latest update is live. It is 226.19MB in size and carries firmware version L500XXU2ZZJ1 (via Kailash).

It brings six changes. You can check out the official changelog below.

  • Applied stabilization code related to device operation
  • Apply sensor stabilization code
  • Health app error correction
  • Fixed Home button shortcuts setting error after software update
  • Fixed an error displaying running Nowva support apps on the Watch AOD screen
  • Fixed AOD screen flickering error when receiving notifications on the watch AOD screen

Galaxy Watch 8 series users in South Korea can get the latest update by opening the Galaxy Wearable app and going to Watch settings > Watch software update > Download and install.
