TL;DR

  • Google has released version 962568596 of the Private Compute Services app for Samsung phones and tablets.
  • The update is being rolled out on Galaxy devices running One UI 8.5 and may reach other One UI versions later.
  • To install it, users must go through Settings > Google services > All services > System services, then update it in Google Play Store.

Google has released a new update for the Private Compute Services app on Samsung smartphones and tablets. It carries version 962568596, and as usual, the American firm hasn’t provided a changelog for the update (via Sai@A2Z Tech X).

You can’t get updates for Private Compute Services the same way you get updates for other apps on your Galaxy smartphones, that is, by going to the updates section in the Galaxy Store or the Google Play Store. You have to take another approach.

Go to Settings > Google services > All services > System services, where you should be able to see that an update is available for Private Compute Services. Tap on the app, which will take you to its listing on the Google Play Store. Now select Update to install it.

Currently, Google seems to be rolling out the latest Private Compute Services update to Galaxy smartphones running One UI 8.5 (Android 16 QPR2). It may offer the update to devices running older and newer One UI versions soon. Recently, Google released updates for other Android system apps too.
